Even when I don’t draw ponies, I draw cats, dragons, and other types of creatures, and there will always be that one person that says “Why do your drawings look so wacky” or “why does this look so stupid and out of place?” Even the people that don’t draw… It makes me sick. I am a cartoonist, I try to draw cute and wacky things as much as I can, I never draw anything real looking. I really wish people could realize that for once..

“I’m a CARTOONIST” “It’s MY STYLE” what a cop out. Quit making excuses for yourself and just learn to take constructive criticism. Bad anatomy is something that can be fixed if you would just take the time instead of being lazy and saying crap like “I’m sooo sorry I’m not a perfect cartoonist who is here to draw for your enjoyment” .
I wish more people would let me know where I go wrong because that helps me improve.

Slugbox has some talent but I don’t understand why everyone loves him so damn much. Not to mention he’s extremely boring because he always draws the same damn thing. His art isn’t sexy at all, his OC is stupid and not to mention, he doesn’t treat his fans very well either so why should I worship someone who is an ass?
Anyone else get a feeling that all the Slugbox complaints are by the same pathetic obsessive weirdo? Calling someone’s art style “Gross” is about as childish and pedantic as you can get. Sounds to me like this complaint was made by a douche bag who kept pestering slug for attention and never got it which explains the whole “doesn’t treat his fans very well” bullshit. Anyone who spent like 5 minutes talking to Slug would know he’s a really nice guy who helps his fellow artists all the time. Hop off his nuts already.
Slugbox helped me make lots of new friends. If it wasn’t for his reblogs and the reblogs of other thoughtful people, I probably wouldn’t have met you all!
